(Dearborn Heights, MI) – RIIS has been retained by Dearborn Heights based nonprofit, Vista Maria, to develop and implement a comprehensive information technology optimization strategy and roadmap. Operating in the role of outsourced IT Management, RIIS consultants have delivered immediate value by auditing telephone infrastructure and utilization data. Vista Maria is already enjoying annual savings in excess of $35,000 resulting from that effort.
“We are proud of the work that we do for all of our clients, but when our client’s work is as intrinsically rewarding as Vista Maria’s, it is extra-inspiring for the entire RIIS team,” explained RIIS founder Godfrey Nolan. Vista Maria, founded 132 years ago by the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, delivers innovative care, support, treatment and education to vulnerable youth so that they heal, believe in their worth and build the skills needed to succeed.
RIIS consultants have also been instrumental in strategic capacity planning, mapping demographic data alongside historical client data on the Tableau platform. RIIS’ expert application of this powerful visualization and analysis tool has helped Vista Maria to explore what services are most needed in the community. “It is an honor to partner with Vista Maria leadership to facilitate the delivery of such an important set of services to this underserved segment of the community,” adds Nolan.
As a non-profit organization, Vista Maria benefits from RIIS’ reduced non-profit rate schedule. In addition, it has been informally adopted by a number of RIIS professionals who have, of their own accord, volunteered their time in support of campus initiatives including the recent construction of an outdoor therapeutic playground.
Vista Maria delivers innovative care, support, treatment and education to vulnerable youth so that they heal, believe in their worth, and build the skills needed to succeed. Through an array of programming designed to meet the needs of abused, neglected and traumatized girls, today, Vista Maria provides vital residential mental health treatment and foster care services, transitional living programs for young women who are homeless or have aged out of the foster care system entering independence, essential treatment programming and necessary support services for adolescent female victims of human trafficking, and after-school programming for boys and girls from the community.
